Street parking is also available.  Remember that there are new meters downtown – ensure that you check them for the correct payment even on the weekends!

Please enter the Murat Shrine Temple through the north doors (off of North Street).  Look for directional signs.

Art for Beds is an annual event that brings together artists from our community and businesses working together to raise funds in support of the health care services provided by Gennesaret Free Clinics. Gennesaret (pronounced jen-NES-sah-ret) Free Clinics, also known as GFC, provides free health care services to homeless and working poor persons in our community. GFC, founded by Dr. James A. Trippi, is in its 23rd year and runs medical clinics in five emergency shelters, at two food pantries and three medical van sites, as well as a dental clinic…all staffed by 150+ volunteers. The annual Art for Beds event raises funds to support the efforts of all of these volunteers and $0.84 of every $1.00 goes directly to patient care.

Come join us on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. at The Murat Arabian Room in Downtown Indianapolis to enjoy the Art for Beds Silent and Live Auction with ceramics, jewelry, restaurant certificates, tickets to various venues, sports memorabilia, paintings, sculptures and much much more.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served along with spirits and non-alcoholic beverages and entertainment will be provided by Sizzlin Gregg Bacon.

It is an evening to celebrate the successes of our community and support those in need.
